Our Story

Stratford Productions, Inc. has developed dozens of concepts in a variety of genres and have concepts in development at a variety of television and film studios.

The Team

Stratford Productions, Inc. is a creative development partnership bringing concepts to life in the scripted and unscripted film and television productions. The core team is composed of Herb Stratford and Kerry Stratford. Additional team members are engaged as needed. See below for brief biographical info on the core team.

Herb Stratford

Herb Stratford is a nationally recognized content creator as an artist, filmmaker and writer. He has a diverse history in the arts having received both a BFA and MFA from the University of Arizona. He continues his affiliation there as an adjunct instructor for the past 13 years teaching Arts Administration. He is also a working film critic as a member of both the Phoenix Film Critics Society and Broadcast Film Critics Association, which present the annual Critic’s Choice Awards. He is also a member of the nominating committee for the Broadcast Film Critics Association’s annual documentary awards.

Stratford created and programs the annual Film Fest Tucson, which takes place in October on seven screens in downtown Tucson and has served as a juror at several film festivals including Slamdamce in Park City, Utah. Additionally, Stratford serves as a consultant to historic theatres across the country assisting with all elements of operation from restoration to programming to fundraising.

His passion for storytelling and connecting audiences with storytellers facilitates new content for film and television platforms.

Kerry Stratford

Kerry has more than 25 years of experience as a producer, art director and production designer overseeing production for film, television and corporate clients in the U.S. and across the globe. She has a rare ability to balance the creative, technical and organizational disciplines necessary for concepting, scripting, planning and executing complicated and award-winning productions.

As a principal in a leading brand marketing, digital and public relations firm headquartered in Arizona, Kerry is responsible for her client’s integrated creative, marketing and digital campaign strategies and overseeing the teams necessary to drive brands forward. She brings a rich multidisciplinary background to any project, as her work crosses nearly every category of creative output. She has won numerous awards for her work and has been featured in numerous publications and books in the U.S. and abroad. She was recently inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Fame.
